Ingredients:
-
2 lbs chicken wings (drumettes + flats)
-
1 tbsp baking powder (NOT baking soda — helps crisp the skin)
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
1 tsp paprika (optional for color/flavor)
-
Salt & pepper to taste
-
Optional: your fave wing sauce (Buffalo, BBQ, garlic parm, etc.)
Instructions:
-
Prep the Wings:
-
Pat wings dry with paper towels (get them really dry for max crisp).
-
Toss in a bowl with baking powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
-
-
Preheat Air Fryer:
-
Set to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
-
-
Air Fry ‘Em:
-
Place wings in a single layer in the basket (don’t crowd them).
-
Cook at 400°F for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway through.
-
Cook longer (up to 30 min) for extra crispy.
-
-
Sauce or Serve:
-
Toss in your favorite wing sauce, or eat ’em plain and crispy!
-
Optional: Broil in the oven for 2–3 minutes after saucing for that sticky finish.
-
🔥 Pro Tips:
-
Want dry rub wings? Just skip the sauce and hit them with a sprinkle of extra seasoning right after cooking.
-
For lemon pepper wings, toss with melted butter + lemon pepper seasoning after cooking.
