🥔 Air Fryer Fried Potato Peels Recipe

✅ Ingredients

  • Peels from 4–5 medium potatoes (washed well before peeling)

  • 1–2 tbsp olive oil (or any neutral oil)

  • ½ tsp salt (to taste)

  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)

  • ½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)

  • Freshly ground black pepper (to taste)

  • Optional: grated Parmesan, chopped parsley, or vinegar for finishing


🔧 Instructions

  1. Prep the Peels

    • Pat the potato peels dry with a clean kitchen towel or paper towel. Removing moisture helps with crispiness.

  2. Season

    • In a bowl, toss the peels with olive oil, salt, pepper, and any optional spices or seasonings you like.

  3. Air Fry

    • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

    • Place the seasoned peels in the basket in a single layer (work in batches if needed).

    • Cook for 8–12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Peels should be golden brown and crispy.

  4. Serve

    • Let them cool slightly—they crisp up more as they cool.

    • Sprinkle with extra salt, Parmesan, or a splash of vinegar if desired.

  • Use peels from organic potatoes if possible since you’re eating the skin.

  • Works well with russet, Yukon gold, or red potatoes.
