Crispy toast with a perfectly cooked egg nestled in the center — all made effortlessly in the air fryer!
🧾 Ingredients (Serves 1):
- 
1 slice of bread (any kind: white, whole wheat, sourdough) 
- 
1 egg (room temperature works best) 
- 
1 tsp butter or olive oil (optional, for brushing) 
- 
Salt and pepper to taste 
- 
Optional toppings: shredded cheese, herbs, chili flakes, avocado

✅ Step 1: Prep the Toast
- 
Cut a circle or square hole in the center of the bread slice using a glass or knife (save the cutout piece if you like it toasted too). 
- 
Optional: Lightly brush the bread with butter or olive oil for extra crispiness. 
✅ Step 2: Add the Egg
- 
Place the bread slice in the air fryer basket. 
- 
Crack an egg directly into the hole. Hold the yolk centered for a few seconds so it settles in place.

Season with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
