Warm maple syrup

Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream 😌
Q & A
Q: Why cover with foil first?
A: It lets the center set gently before the top browns.
Q: How do I know it’s done?
A:
-
Top is golden
-
Center jiggles slightly but isn’t wet
-
Knife comes out mostly clean
Q: Can I use fresh bread?
A: Yes—toast it lightly first so it absorbs custard properly.
Q: Can I make it dairy-free?
A: Yes. Use coconut milk or almond milk and dairy-free butter.
Q: Why is mine dry?
A: Too much bread or cooked too long uncovered. Bread pudding should be soft and moist inside.
Q: Can I reheat it?
A: Yes—air fry at 150°C / 300°F for 3–4 minutes.
Q: Want extra crispy top?
A: Sprinkle 1 tsp sugar on top before the final air-fry stage.
