🧾 Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (or mozzarella)

  • 3 tbsp full-fat mayonnaise

  • 1 tbsp cream cheese, softened

  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional but tasty)

  • 1 tbsp butter, melted

  • Salt, to taste

  • Black pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp finely chopped chives or green onion (optional)


👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Hard-boil the eggs
    Place eggs in a pot, cover with water, bring to a boil, then simmer 9–10 minutes. Cool in ice water and peel.

  2. Chop or mash
    Finely chop eggs or mash with a fork for a smoother texture.

  3. Mix the creamy base
    In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, cream cheese, melted butter, mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  4. Add cheese & eggs
    Fold in shredded cheese and chopped eggs.

  5. Season & finish
    Add chives/green onion if using. Taste and adjust salt/pepper.

  6. Chill (recommended)
    Refrigerate 20–30 minutes for best flavor.
