Crispy Parmesan Asparagus Sticks 🧀🌿

🛒 Ingredients (4 servings)

  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus (trimmed)

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • ½ cup breadcrumbs (panko for extra crisp)

  • 1 egg

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning

  • Salt & black pepper (to taste)

  • Optional: pinch of chili flakes


👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Trim the woody ends of asparagus.

  3. In a bowl, whisk the egg.

  4. In another bowl, mix Parmesan, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

  5. Dip each asparagus spear in egg, then coat well in the Parmesan mixture.

  6. Place on the tray in a single layer. Lightly drizzle olive oil on top.

  7. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and crispy.

  8. Serve warm with marinara sauce or garlic aioli.
