One Pan Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo 🍤🍝
🛒 Ingredients (Serves 4)
-
12 oz fettuccine
-
1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined
-
2 tbsp butter
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
4 cloves garlic, minced
-
2 cups chicken broth
-
1 cup heavy cream
-
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan
-
½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
-
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
🔪 Instructions
1️⃣ Sear the Shrimp
Heat olive oil and 1 tbsp butter in a large deep skillet over medium-high heat.
Season shrimp lightly with salt and pepper.
Cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
2️⃣ Build the Sauce
In the same pan, add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
3️⃣ Cook the Pasta (One Pan Magic ✨)
Add uncooked fettuccine directly into the pan.
Submerge as much as possible in the liquid.
Simmer 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is tender and sauce thickens.
4️⃣ Finish It
Stir in Parmesan until smooth and creamy.
Return shrimp to the pan and simmer 1–2 minutes.
Garnish with parsley and extra Parmesan.
🔥 Pro Tips
-
Freshly grated Parmesan melts smoother than pre-shredded.
-
If sauce gets too thick, add a splash of warm broth or pasta water.
-
Don’t overcook shrimp—they turn rubbery quickly.
