❓ Air Fryer Poached Eggs Q & A
Q: Do I need vinegar like traditional poaching?
A: No. The contained water in ramekins keeps the egg together without vinegar.
Q: Can I cook more than one egg at a time?
A: Yes, as long as your air fryer basket fits multiple ramekins without overcrowding.
Q: Why is my egg overcooked?
A: Air fryers vary. Start at 6 minutes and adjust by 30-second increments.
Q: Can I use cold water instead of hot?
A: Hot water works best for even cooking, but cold water will still work—add 1 extra minute.
Q: Do I need to cover the ramekins?
A: No, covering isn’t necessary.
Q: Can I reheat poached eggs?
A: It’s not recommended. Poached eggs are best served fresh.
Q: Is this method safe?
A: Yes, as long as you use heat-safe ramekins and handle hot water carefully.
