Ingredients
For the Fritters:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/3 cup sugar

2 tsp baking powder

1 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp nutmeg

1/4 tsp salt

2 large eggs

1/3 cup milk

1/4 cup melted butter

2 medium apples (peeled & diced small)

2 tbsp brown sugar

2–3 tbsp milk

Step 1: Prep the apples

Dice apples into small cubes.

Toss with lemon juice & brown sugar.

Cook in a pan for 4–5 minutes until slightly soft.

Let them cool.
Step 2: Make the batter

In one bowl, add flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt.

In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, vanilla.

Combine wet + dry ingredients.

Fold in the cooled apples gently.
Step 3: Shape the fritters

Preheat oven: 200°C (395°F).

Line a baking tray.

Scoop the batter in small mounds, don’t flatten.
Step 4: Bake

Bake for 13–17 minutes, until golden and puffed.
Step 5: Glaze
