🧄 Garlic Fries Recipe
Ingredients
-
4 large russet potatoes
-
3 tbsp olive oil 🫒
-
4–5 cloves garlic, minced
-
1 tsp salt
-
½ tsp black pepper
-
1 tsp dried oregano or Italian seasoning
-
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)
-
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley 🌿
Instructions
1. Prep the Potatoes
-
Scrub and wash potatoes well (keep the skins on for extra crispiness).
-
Cut into thick wedges or fries.
-
Soak in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch (this helps them crisp up).
-
Drain and pat completely dry with a towel.
2. Season
-
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
In a large bowl, toss the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and oregano.
-
Spread fries in a single layer — don’t overcrowd them!
3. Bake
-
Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
-
For extra crispiness, broil for an additional 2–3 minutes at the end.
4. Finish & Serve
-
Once baked, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese (if using) and chopped parsley.
-
Toss gently to coat.
-
Serve hot with garlic aioli, ranch, or ketchup.
