Baked Pears with Camembert, Pistachios, and Cranberries
Ingredients:
3 ripe pears, halved and cored
1 small wheel of Camembert cheese, cut into wedges
¼ cup dried cranberries
¼ cup pistachios, chopped
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 tbsp olive oil
Fresh thyme sprigs (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place pear halves on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil.
Roast pears for 15–20 minutes until just tender.
Remove from oven and top each pear half with a wedge of Camembert. Return to oven for 5 minutes until cheese is warm and slightly melted.
Sprinkle with cranberries and pistachios. Drizzle with honey and garnish with thyme if desired.
Serve warm as an elegant appetizer or dessert.
