🌿 Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Shrimp

A quick and delicious appetizer or main dish – crispy, garlicky, and cheesy shrimp made in under 15 minutes!

🧾 Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450 g) large shrimp, peeled & deveined (tails on optional)

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or melted butter)

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (freshly grated works best)

  • ½ cup panko breadcrumbs (or almond flour for keto/low-carb)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning (oregano, basil, thyme mix)

  • ½ tsp paprika (optional for color & flavor)

  • ¼ tsp salt (or to taste)

  • ¼ tsp black pepper

  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

  • Lemon wedges (for serving)


👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Prep Shrimp

  • Pat shrimp dry with paper towels to remove extra moisture.

  • Place in a large mixing bowl.

2. Season

  • Add olive oil (or melted butter), minced garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.

  • Toss until shrimp are evenly coated.

3. Bread

  • In a small bowl, mix Parmesan cheese and panko breadcrumbs.

  • Coat each shrimp in the mixture, pressing lightly so it sticks.

4. Air Fry

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  • Arrange shrimp in a single layer in the basket (do not overcrowd).

  • Air fry for 7–8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden, crispy, and cooked through.

5. Garnish & Serve

  • Sprinkle fresh parsley on top.

  • Serve immediately with lemon wedges for a zesty kick.


🥡 Storage & Reheating

  • Fridge: Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days.

  • Reheat: Pop them back in the air fryer at 350°F for 3–4 minutes to regain crispiness.
