Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

📋 Ingredients:

  • 2–3 medium russet potatoes or Yukon Gold (about 1.5 lbs)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • ½ teaspoon onion powder (optional)

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon salt (or to taste)

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided

  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

  • Optional dipping sauce: ranch, garlic aioli, spicy mayo, etc.

🥣 Instructions:

1. Prep the Potatoes

  • Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly.

  • Leave the skin on for texture, or peel if you prefer.

  • Slice into ¼-inch thick rounds using a knife or mandoline for even thickness.

2. Optional (For Extra Crispiness):

  • Soak slices in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  • Drain and pat completely dry with paper towels or a clean kitchen towel.

3. Season

  • In a large mixing bowl, add:

    • Potato slices

    • Olive oil

    • Garlic powder

    • Onion powder (if using)

    • Paprika

    • Salt & pepper

    • Half of the Parmesan cheese (about 2–3 tablespoons)

  • Toss well until all rounds are evenly coated.

4. Air Fry

  • Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.

  • Place the potato rounds in the basket in a single layer (you may need to do 2 batches depending on your air fryer size).

  • Air fry for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through at the 6–7 minute mark.

    • They’re done when golden, crisp on the edges, and fork-tender in the center.

5. Finish & Serve

  • While hot, sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese over the rounds.

  • Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

  • Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.

🔁 Storage & Reheating:

  • Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.

  • Reheat in the air fryer at 350°F for 4–5 minutes to re-crisp.

💡 Tips & Variations:

  • Cheesy twist: Add shredded mozzarella or cheddar during the last 2 minutes of cooking for melty potato bites.

  • Spicy version: Add a pinch of cayenne or chili flakes to the seasoning.

  • Loaded: Top with sour cream, bacon bits, and green onions for a loaded snack.

  • Low-sodium option: Reduce salt and use unsalted Parmesan.
