Homemade Jello Grapes! 🍇🎉
Also known as “Sour Patch Grapes,” these are sweet, tangy, and super easy to make with just two ingredients!
🍇 Homemade Jello Grapes (aka Candy Grapes)
🕒 Prep Time: 10 minutes
🧊 Chill Time: 1–2 hours
🍽️ Servings: 6–8 (snack-sized portions)
🧾 Ingredients:
-
1–2 pounds seedless grapes (green, red, or a mix — washed and still slightly damp)
-
1–2 packets of sugar-free or regular flavored Jello (any flavors you like: cherry, lime, blue raspberry, etc.)
Tip: Sugar-free Jello makes this a low-calorie treat!
👩🍳 Instructions:
1. Prep the Grapes
-
Wash the grapes thoroughly and leave them slightly damp — this helps the Jello powder stick.
-
Remove the grapes from the stems (optional, but better for snacking).
2. Coat with Jello Powder
-
Pour the Jello powder into a shallow bowl or a zip-top bag.
-
Add a few grapes at a time, rolling or shaking to fully coat them in the powder.
-
Use one flavor or mix multiple for a rainbow effect!
3. Chill and Set
-
Place the coated grapes on a parchment-lined baking sheet or plate in a single layer.
-
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or freeze for a cool summer snack.
🍬 Serving Tips:
-
Serve cold for a chewy, candy-like bite.
-
Freeze for an icy, slushy texture — perfect for hot days!
-
Great for parties, lunchboxes, or after-school snacks.
