Cook: 8–10 minutes
🧂 Ingredients:
For the Salmon:
-
4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each), skin-on or skinless
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
½ tsp paprika
-
½ tsp salt
-
¼ tsp black pepper
For the Bang Bang Sauce:
-
⅓ cup mayonnaise (use light mayo if preferred)
-
2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
-
1 tbsp Sriracha (adjust to taste)
-
1 tsp honey or sugar (optional for sweetness)
-
1 tsp rice vinegar or lime juice (for a slight tang, optional)
Optional Garnishes:
-
Chopped green onions
-
Sesame seeds
-
Lime wedges
🔥 Instructions:
1. Prep the Salmon:
Pat salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Brush with olive oil, then season evenly with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
2. Preheat Air Fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
3. Cook the Salmon:
Place salmon fillets in the air fryer basket, skin-side down (if skin-on), leaving space between them.
Air fry at 400°F for 8–10 minutes, depending on thickness. The salmon should flake easily with a fork and reach an internal temp of 145°F (63°C).
4. Make the Bang Bang Sauce:
While the salmon is cooking, whisk together all sauce ingredients in a small bowl until smooth.
5. Assemble and Serve:
Once the salmon is cooked, drizzle or brush generously with the bang bang sauce. Garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, and a squeeze of lime if desired.
💡 Tips:
-
For extra crisp edges: Air fry an extra minute or two if you like a caramelized top.
-
Marinate for more flavor: You can brush a little sauce on the salmon before cooking, but the mayo-based sauce can brown fast—so watch closely.
-
Pair with: Jasmine rice, quinoa, roasted veggies, or a fresh salad.
