Ingredients:
– 1 unbaked pie crust
– 1 box brownie mix (plus ingredients called for on the box)
– 1 cup chopped pecans
– 1/2 cup corn syrup
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 2 eggs
– 1/4 cup butter, melted
– 1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and place your unbaked pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish. Set aside.
2. Prepare the brownie batter according to the directions on the box. Pour the prepared brownie batter evenly into the unbaked pie crust.
3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the chopped pecans, corn syrup, sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
4. Carefully pour the pecan mixture over the brownie batter in the pie crust. Spread gently with a spatula if needed to distribute evenly.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 45–50 minutes, or until the center is just set and no longer jiggles when shaken.
6. Allow the pie to cool completely at room temperature to let the layers firm up before slicing.
7. Serve slices as is or topped with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an extra treat.
