Ingredients:
1 lb fresh asparagus, trimmed
3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper, to taste
½ cup shredded Asiago cheese
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Directions:
Prepare Asparagus: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place trimmed asparagus on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, add minced garlic, and season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat.
Roast: Spread asparagus evenly on the baking sheet and roast for 12-15 minutes, or until tender but still slightly crisp.
Add Toppings: Remove from oven and sprinkle with crumbled bacon and shredded Asiago cheese.
Broil: Place the asparagus back in the oven and broil for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serve: Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
