🍍 2-Ingredient WW Pineapple Angel Food Cake
This light, fluffy dessert is a favorite among those following WW (formerly Weight Watchers) — and it’s unbelievably simple to make!
📝 Ingredients
-
1 box (15.25 oz) Angel Food Cake mix
(Important: Use the “just add water” type. Betty Crocker or Duncan Hines works well.)
-
1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple in 100% juice
(Do not drain — the juice is part of the magic!)
👩🍳 Instructions
-
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
-
In a large mixing bowl, combine the dry cake mix with the entire can of crushed pineapple, juice and all. -
The mixture will foam a bit — that’s normal! Stir gently until everything is well combined and fluffy.

-
-
Pour the batter into an ungreased 9×13-inch baking dish. -
Do not grease or flour the pan — angel food cake needs to “climb” the sides of the dish.

-
-
Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
-
Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack. -
The cake will settle slightly as it cools — that’s normal.

-
-
Slice into 12–15 pieces and serve plain or with your favorite light toppings!
🧁 Optional Toppings (0–1 WW point options)
-
Fat-free whipped topping (like Cool Whip Free)
-
Fresh strawberries, blueberries, or mango chunks
-
A sprinkle of shredded coconut or a dusting of cinnamon
📊 WW Points (per serving):
-
Approx. 3 WW points per slice (when divided into 12 servings) -
This can vary slightly depending on the brand of cake mix and how many servings you cut. Use the WW app for exact tracking.
