  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice

  • 1 tbsp lime zest

  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro, chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

👨‍🍳 Directions

1️⃣ Prepare Scallops
Pat scallops dry with paper towels to ensure a perfect sear. Season both sides with salt and pepper.

2️⃣ Sear
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, add scallops in a single layer (don’t overcrowd).
Sear 2 minutes per side, until golden-brown crust forms. Transfer to a warm plate.

3️⃣ Make the Sauce
Lower heat to medium. Add butter and garlic, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Stir in lime juice and zest, scraping up browned bits from the pan.

4️⃣ Combine & Finish
